Sometimes there is a rainbow
Strong enough to tie me down.
And when it gets too tough,
There is a saviour, strong enough
To make me stay.
And when the winds
Blow too hard, and my feet
No longer touch ground,
I am lifted by the threads
Of the sun’s golden rays,
To be set down upon
A hilltop where I can see all,
And for a moment stop running
From nothing and everything.
Almost home,
Yet miles away still.
